MOSCOW, Jan 10 (Reuters) - The head of Russian pipeline monopoly Transneft said on Wednesday he expected the main export pipeline to Europe to reopen on Thursday after Belarus returns 80,000 tonnes of oil that Russia says it took illegally.
"I expect this to happen tomorrow," Transneft CEO Semyon Vainshtok told reporters.
Russia says Belarus siphoned the oil from the pipeline during a dispute over tariffs this week, which prompted state-owned Transneft to shut all flows through the pipeline.
