Putin hopes to coordinate CES issues with Belarus

NOVO-OGARYOVO, December 8 (Itar-Tass) - Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said he was hoping that bilateral issues with Belarus on forming the Common Economic Space (CES) would be coordinated within a day.

"I'm very much hoping that we'll be able to coordinate these issues during our consultations," Putin said addressing his Belarussian counterpart Sergei Sidorsky.

"As agreed, we're meeting in connection with the end of joint work on a large package of documents, which should make groundwork of the Common Economic Space. As agreed, there are certain issues which are quite sensitive for the economies of Russia and Belarus, which we should settle in bilateral format, so that the whole package of document could be realized," the Russian prime minister said.
