Belarus' Court mulls Russian cases

The Supreme Court in Belarus is looking into the cases against Russians who have been under house arrest for taking part in an unsanctioned opposition rally in Minsk on December 19th.

According to a Court official, the judges applied for the particulars of the cases following complaints from the arrested who insist that they should be released from custody.

Three of eleven Russian nationals arrested at the opposition rally are due to be released on December 30th.

Moscow has called for an immediate release of all Russians.
