YEREVAN, December 28, /ARKA/. Armenia-Belarus trade this year is expected to reach $45 million, Belarusian ambassador to Armenia, Stepan Sukhorenko, said Monday, adding that the figure represents a growth by a factor of 1.5 if compared to 2009.
'Armenian and Belarusian presidents had set the task to raise the bilateral trade to the level of our political relationship and this task has been fulfilled,' he said.
He said also the Armenian Belarusian trade house that has opened this year in Yerevan is very popular here.
'Next year we plan to deepen further our relationships. More precisely, we plan to start assembling Belarus tractors in Armenia, which have a bid demand here,' he said.
