Ganja automobile plant's sales exceed supplies of car kits by 50%
Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan has created full-fledged automotive industry.
At today's press conference in Baku Belarusian ambassador to Azerbaijan Nikolai Paskevich has stated that assembly of tractors, cars and special vehicles MAZ and MTZ in the Ganja Automobile Plant (GanjAZ) is the most successful Azerbaijani-Belarusian joint project.
"Today we raise an issue of an increase in the supply of car kits from Belarus by up to $100 million a year. However, now the plant is dealing not only with simple assembly of vehicles from the supplied kits. The value of its output has already exceeded 1.5 times the supply of complete units. GanjAZ has already mastered independently such new machinery as trailers for tractors, special purpose carbody, etc," Paskevich said.
