Gazprom announced gas prices for Baltic states and Belarus
On December, 24, Gazprom released the principles of fuel pricing for the Baltic states and Belarus.
In 2011 Latvia and Estonia will be able to get a discount at 15% for the gas prices. It depends on the increasing of the volume of the fuel imports up to the levels of 2007 year. If the purchase amount will be lower, the discount will be reduced. According to Valery Golubev, deputy chairman of Gazprom, gas cost reducing will not be provided for Lithuania in the next year.
As for Belarus, the gas price for this country may be reduced by 15% in 2012 year after application of the new formula for fuel calculating.
