Senate Speaker holds several meetings in Minsk

Within the framework of a mission the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly which participated in monitoring of the presidential elections in Belarus Kazakh Senate Speaker, Vice President of the OSCE PA Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has held a number of meetings.

"In 2009 the Belarusian authorities made an unprecedented step for your conditions towards the legislation liberalization in accordance with the OSCE recommendations", K.Tokayev noted at a meeting with Chairperson of the Central Commission of Belarus for Elections and National Referenda Lidiya Yermoshina.

At a meeting with Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Anatoly Rubinov the sides expressed satisfaction with dynamics of bilateral relations and emphasized mutual striving for interaction expansion in various spheres, including Interparliamentary dialogue and cultural-humanitarian ties.

"We should fully take the opportunity to expand our trade and economic ties within the framework of the Customs Union establishment", A.Rubinov emphasized in his speech.

Kazakh Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Belarus Anatoly Smirnov, Senator Oralbay Abdykarimov and other members of the Kazakh Parliament's delegation took part at the meetings.
