According to the data released by Belarus National Statistical Committee, in the first 11 months of 2010 the country registered increase of 9.2%YoY in its crude steel production to 2.451 million tonne and saw a 6.5% increase in its rolled steel product (finished) output to 2.266 million tonnes.
In January to November this year, Belarus' output of steel pipes increased by 66%YoY to 161,500 tonnes including 92,900 tonnes of seamless steel pipes up by 110.3%YoY. In addition, the country steel wire production went up by 58.1%YoY to 69,300 tonnes and its steel cord output increased by 33.3% to 85,500 tonnes.
Compared to October this year, the country crude steel output in November increased by 2.5%, its rolled steel product output went up by 7%, its steel pipe production rose by 9.8%, its steel wire production increased by 2.1% while its steel cord production went down by 6.2%.
