Aliyev happy with Lukashenko's success

Azerbaijani and Belarus leaders Ilham Aliyev and Alexander Lukashenko met today on the sidelines of the OSCE summit in Astana.

The sides reconfirmed commitment to development of partner and friendly relations between the states, BELTA news agency reported.

"We are friends and partners. We fondly recall your latest visit to Azerbaijan. Relations between two states are actively developing in all fields. We are happy with your success and hope for continuation of active cooperation," Aliyev said.

In his turn Alexander Lukashenko expressed gratitude to Aliyev for Azerbaijan's financial and other assistance to Belarus.

He also stressed that there are many projects and they are being realized. "You can be confident that we will fulfill our commitments to your country," he added.
