Center of Azerbaijani language and culture opens in Belarus

The Center of Azerbaijani language and culture has opened at the Belarus State Pedagogical University named after Maxim Tank.

The initiator and organizer of the opening is the Baku Slavic University, according to sources from the university.

The opening ceremony was attended by Azerbaijan's ambassador in Belarus Ali Nagiyev, chairman of the Congress of Azerbaijani communities Natig Bagirov, rector of the Minsk State Linguistic University Natalia Baranova, rector of the Baku Slavic University Kamal Abdullayev and so on.

Ambassador Ali Nagiyev appealed to the richest history and culture of the native land and urged the new center to work for preservation and popularization of real values of the Azerbaijani people.

The Center collects the book foundation, expositions, manuals, rich audio library, photography, by means of which Belarus students will study the culture and language of Azerbaijan.
