Belarus: To Continue Natural Gas Price Talks
Belarus will continue talks on the price of Russian natural gas for 2008, RIA Novosti reported Dec. 19, citing comments from Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Ivan Bambiza. Bambiza told the Belarusian parliament that so far, a price has only been set for the first quarter of 2008; Russian natural gas giant Gazprom will sell Belarus natural gas from January through March at $119 per 1,000 cubic meters.
