Belarus Lifts Ban on Import of Georgian Tangerines

Georgia, Tbilisi / ’rend corr N. Kirtskhalia / The Georgian Agriculture Ministry denies the reports that Belarus Veterinary Service banned the import of Georgian citruses, the Georgian Agriculture Ministry reported.

The export of Georgian citruses to the Belarus was indeed suspended temporarily as the spray of the disinfectant preventing the Montgomery Disease was done incompletely at the Belarus border. However, the issue was solved during the visit of the Georgian Agriculture Minister Petre Tsiskarishvili to Belarus in November.
