Russia to extend stabilization credit to Belarus for 15 years

MINSK, December 14 (Itar-Tass) - Russia will extend a 1.5-billion-dollar stabilization credit to Belarus for 15 years with a grace period of five years, according to the permanent committee of the union state in Minsk.

The relevant agreement is expected to be signed in Minsk later on Friday, where a meeting of the supreme council of the union state is taking place.

Belarussian and Russian finance ministers Nikolai Korbut and Alexei Kudrin will put their signatures to the deal.
