Gas talks delay adoption of Russia-Belarus Union's constitution

MINSK. Dec 4 (Interfax) - The absence of agreement on the price for Russian gas supplies to Belarus are delaying adoption of the Russian- Belarussian Union's constitution, Nikolai Cherginets, head of the Belarussian parliament's international affairs and national security committee told reporters in Minsk on Monday.

"Maybe it's not time to discuss the constitutional act, given the gas constraints between Belarus and Russia," he said.

The document is about 99.9% ready, the deputy said.
