Belarusian parliament ratifies agreement on CSTO military training

The House of Representatives, National Assembly of Belarus, has ratified an agreement on training of military cadres for the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO) member states, KZ-today reports citing Belarusian media.

The agreement on training of military cadres for the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO) member states was inked in June, 2005, in Moscow. The agreement is directed at formation of military cadres for armed forces. As per the document, the training of military cadres will be carried out on common plans on the payable basis or on quotas, established by the hosting side, as well as for free.

The sides undertake to acknowledge diplomas on education received in higher military institutions on the CSTO territory.
