International Broadcasters Visiting Jacksonville University

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Members of the media from across the ocean are learning from local students today.

The International visitor Leadership Program has brought five journalists from Belarus to the campus of Jacksonville University.

The journalists will be spending the day learning about how small to medium-sized television stations do business.

They'll be participating in classroom discussions and observing how the Dolphin Channel handles its production.

In exchange, the students will be able to learn from the professionals, including a correspondent, producer, director, editor and an editor-in-chief from broadcasting outfits in Belarus.

The State Department runs the International Visitor Leadership Program.
