Leader of Libyan revolution Muammar Gaddafi arrives in Belarus on official visit
MINSK, November 2 (Itar-Tass) - Leader of Libyan revolution Muammar Gaddafi arrived in Belarus on an official visit. At the airport, he was welcomed by Belarussian President Alexander Lukashenko.
The sides plan to sign several bilateral documents, including the Convention on avoiding double taxation and prevention from ducking tax payments with respect to taxes on incomes and property, a protocol on cooperation between the Belarussian Justice Ministry and the Libyan Main People's Justice Committee as well as a Memorandum on mutual understanding between the Belarussian State Committee on Standardisation and the Libyan National Centre for Standardisation and Metrology.
Documents also include an Agreement on cooperation between the Belarussian State TV and Radio Company and the Libyan General Association of TV Broadcasting. "The Belarussian side is ready to examine a possibility of training Libyan specialists at the International Personnel Training Centre in the sphere of migration and countering trade in people at the Belarussian Interior Ministry," the press service reported.
