Belarus: vegetable harvesting to draw to close

Vegetable harvesting in Moldova is gradually drawing to close. As representative of the Agriculture and food Committee of the Regional executive Committee reported, at the moment, harvesting is almost completed in the territory of Mogilev region.

As of November 6, 1.537 ha of lands are harvested by agrarian organizations of Mogilev region.

29.500 tonnes of vegetables were harvested in this region with the average yield of 192 c/ha. It is expected that vegetable harvesting will be completed throughout all the regions of Moldova in the nearest future.

According to the forecast, gross production of vegetables will reach the volume of 335.000 tonnes. More than 123.00 tonnes will be directed to the trade chain (including storing for stabilization funds), more that 30.000 tonnes - for industrial processing.
