Poland-Belarus in economic cooperation

Today in Minsk begins the two-day Polish-Belarusian Economic Forum. Politicians and economic experts from both countries will speak about tightening market relations and production cooperation between the two countries.

Waldemar Pawlak, Deputy Prime Minister and Economic Minister, will attend the Forum tomorrow.

Poland and Belarus intend to embark upon a large-scale economic cooperation. Largely, this will occur in the energy and agricultural and food production sectors. The two countries are working closely to protect their natural environments and maintain secure borders.

According to experts, the Forum could end in the signing of a contract to ease trade relations between the two countries and encourage trade between factories and companies on both sides of the border.
