Belarus opens new embassy facilities in Moldova

An opening ceremony of new facilities of the Belarusian embassy in Moldova will take place in Chisinau on November 13. Attending the ceremony will be Prime Minister of Belarus Sergei Sidorsky and Head of the Cabinet of Ministers of Moldova Zinaida Grechanaya, BelTA learnt from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Moldova Vasily Sakovich.

Partaking in the ceremony will be the officials of the diplomatic missions of Belarus and Moldova, other ministries and agencies.

According to Vasily Sakovich, the forthcoming event is a key one in intensifying and expanding cooperation between Belarus and Moldova in all the areas. "It shows that the two sides pay considerable significance to strengthening cooperation between the two countries and we are confident in its building-up in the offing," the Belarusian diplomat said.

In his words, the new buildings were erected within the last two and a half years. The ensemble has become Chisinau's architectural monument and blended perfectly with the modern appearance of the Moldavian capital.
