Czech, Belarussian railways discuss organizing regular containershipments to Russia

MINSK. Nov 1 (Interfax) - Representatives of Belarussian Railways and Czech Railways are holding talks Wednesday in Minsk on organizing regular container trains, a representative of Belarussian Railways told Interfax.

The talks will also discuss organizing regular container freight transit between Belarus and Russia, the representative said. The trains will haul corner pieces and engines for Skoda cars. Belarussian Railways is represented at the talks by its First Deputy Head Vladimir Laptinsky and Czech Railways is represented by its general director Josef Bazal.
