Presidents of Azerbaijan and Ukraine Ilham Aliyev and Victor Yushchenko held a bilateral meeting at CIS summit in Minsk, APA reports.
They discussed the cooperation on energy deliveries, namely Caspian oil transportation to Europe through Odessa-Brodi-Plotsk pipeline. Ilham Aliyev and Victor Yushchenko also discussed the cooperation within GUAM. Later on president of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko joined the discussion. The presidents decided to form a workgroup consisting of ministers of economy. Victor Yushchenko said that the question concerning the establishment of consortium unifying CIS energy-export, energy-transit and energy-import countries should be examined carefully. He also noted that the summit did not justify his hopes. /APA/
