Belarus reports household spending

RBC, 21.11.2006, Moscow 10:52:26.The cash spending and savings of the Belarusian population amounted to approximately $15.65bn in the first nine months of 2006, the Statistics and Analysis Ministry of the Republic of Belarus reported. Belarusians spent some $12.89bn on goods and services, which is 82.3 percent of the total spending and savings.

Throughout this period the income per capita amounted to $180. The real disposable cash income (income after the deduction of compulsory payments and adjusted against the consumer price index) in the first nine months grew 17.3 percent compared to the same period a year earlier. The real cash income in September 2006 increased by 13.9 percent compared to September 2005.
