Following the results of the current year farms of Belarus will increase agricultural production volumes by 6% as to compare with the previous year. Rates of rise in production volumes were planned at the level of 106-108%. It was informed by Nadezhnda Kotkovets, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food, on November, 16.
This year was the most difficult as for weather conditions. Deputy Minister informed that grain harvest totaled 7 mln tonnes. Reliable forage reserve was created - they prepared feed in more than 1.5 times as to compare with last year, maize store exceeds previous year index by 53%.
At the same time Kotkovets noticed that because of unfavourable weather conditions Belarus did not receive more than 1 mln tonnes of grain.
