Putin, Lukashenko likely to discuss oil deliveries to Belarus - source

MOSCOW. Nov 10 (Interfax) - A meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Belarussian President Alexander Lukashenko scheduled to take place on Friday "is expected to focus on the ways to solve the complicated situation" surrounding Russian oil deliveries to Belarus, a Kremlin source told Interfax.

"Russia is concerned that oil delivers to Belarus significantly surpass Belarus' domestic need for oil," the source said.

"The practice of duty-free oil exports Belarus, where it is processed and delivered to third countries, has resulted in enormous losses to the Russian budget," he said.
