EU Warned Belarus for Possible Sanctions

Minsk. The EU warned Belarus that it could impose sanctions because of systematic violation of human rights Reuters agency reports. According to diplomats from Brussels who wished to remain anonymous, the foreign ministers from the EU countries will accept a general document in which they will express its concern for not abiding the civil and political rights Belarus.

Last year the EU froze its contacts with Minsk accusing the president's administration that it had rigged the results from the elections.
