Oman-Belarus co-operation march reviewed

MUSCAT -- Gen Ali bin Majid al Maamari, Minister of the Royal Office, received in his office yesterday Viktor Lukashenko, Assistant to the President of Belarus for National Security, Army, Police and Public Security Affairs, and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, the bilateral relations march binding the Sultanate and Belarus were reviewed and means of promoting them in all fields to achieve joint interests of the two countries, in addition to issues of common concern were discussed.

Meanwhile, Lt Gen Malik bin Sulaiman al Maamari, Inspector General of Police and Customs, also received at the Police General Command in Al Qurum yesterday Viktor Lukashenko and his accompanying delegation, currently visiting the Sultanate. They exchanged views on enhancing the police co-operation between the two countries. The meeting was attended by Maj Gen Salim bin Mussalam bin Ali Qatan, Assistant Inspector General of Police and Customs, and senior officers at the Royal Oman Police.
