Armenia, Belarus to support each other at international agencies

Armenia and Belarus must finds the ways of supporting each other at international institutions, Armenian Ambassador to Belarus Armen Khachatryan stated at his meeting with Speaker of the Council, National Assembly of Belarus, Anatoly Rubinov.

"There are various opinions and double standards, but Armenia and Belarus must support each other at international institutions," Khachatryan said. He stressed the warm and friendly from the beginning. "Many Armenians residing in Belarus can show their talents due to the Belarusian people's tolerance. Serious social problems are resolved here. It is most important that spiritual values have been preserved in the country," Ambassador Khachatryan said. He called Belarus a country of "good opportunities."

According to Khachatryan, he is happy to have been appointed Armenian Ambassador to Belarus. "I admire the statehood, conscientiousness and the sense of responsibility I can see in Belarus," he said.

In his turn, Anatoly Rubinov pointed out friendly bilateral relations. "Our countries established ties of sincere friendship many years ago. Armenian-Belarusian state relations are successfully developing. Bilateral commissions for parliamentary, economic and scientific cooperation have been formed. The Belarusian leader has paid two visits to Armenia overt the recent years," Speaker Rubinov said.
