Bilateral political dialogue between Armenia and Belarus on a high level

The President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Sergey Martinov.

The parties discussed issues related to Armenia-Belarus bilateral relations.

President Sargsyan noted that the two countries maintain a high-level political dialogue; however it is necessary to boost the economic cooperation. He said that if active work and necessary efforts were made on that direction, it would be possible to achieve noticeable results in a short period of time.

Sergey Martinov noted that Armenia is an important partner for Belarus. According to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, good working relations between the Presidents and the Governments of the two countries create sound opportunities for the implementation of major and efficient programs.

The parties spoke in particular about cooperation in the areas of machine building and high tech.
