A320 makes forced landing in Minsk due to false sensor activation

MOSCOW, October 4 (RIA Novosti) - An A320 of Russia's flagship air carrier Aeroflot with 120 passengers on board bound from Prague to Moscow made a forced landing Sunday in Minsk, no one was injured, Aeroflot said. The air carrier said the landing in the capital of Belarus was made due to a false sensor activation. "During the Prague-Moscow flight, the cockpit decompression warning system came into action. The captain decided to land in Minsk. There were 120 passengers and six crew on board the aircraft, no one was injured," a spokesman said, adding that the system activation was false. The passengers, now accommodated in a hotel, will be taken to Moscow by an additional flight tonight.
