President of Belarus signed CRRF CSTO Agreement
The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, signed the Agreement on Collective Rapid Response Forces (CRRF) of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO). The CSTO Secretariat press service informed Kazakhstan Today agency.
According to the press service, A. Lukashenko signed a package of documents on the CRRF CSTO creation.
According to the press service, a package of documents includes the CRRF Agreement, the decision of the CSTO Council of Collective Security on the structure of the CRRF CSTO, the decision of the CSTO Council of Collective Security on change of the number and the structure of the CSTO Secretariat, and the decision of the CSTO Council of Collective Security on change of the structure and additional functions of the CSTO Joint Staff.
According to the press service, these documents were signed during the session of the CSTO Council of Collective Security on June 14, 2009 by the Presidents of Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan.
