Bulgaria's government approved Thursday the draft Memorandum for Cooperation between the Bulgarian Executive Agency for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses and the Department of Enterprise of the Republic of Belarus.
The Memorandum is expected to be signed officially during the Third Session of the Bulgaria-Belarus Intergovernmental Committee for Economic and Scientific and Technical Cooperation, which is scheduled to take place in Minsk on November 27-29.
The two institutions are going to cooperate in the field of developing small and medium-sized enterprises and of professional training.
The bilateral trade between Bulgaria and Belarus has increased in volume in the recent years. In 2007 it was worth USD 61,8 M compared to USD 38,8 M in 2005.
Bulgaria's exports to Belarus consist primarily of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, wines, plastic products, machines, spare parts, accumulators. Belarus exports to Bulgaria tractors, trucks, spare parts, paper.
