OSCE Office praises BSU international programme development
The OSCE Office in Minsk and Belarusian State University (BSU) aim at improving university programmes related to the international organisations and relations, Head of the OSCE Office in Minsk, Ambassador Hans Jochen Schmidt said at a conference in Minsk, reported Belta.
"This is the goal we share with Belarusian State University," he said. The Ambassador asserted that the OSCE Office is engaged in the organisation of a visit of the Belarusian experts to the OSCE Secretariat in Vienna in late October what would give an opportunity to get familiar with the activity of the organisation. Our cooperation will continue developing as Belarus is an active member of OSCE," the Head of the Office said.
The conference in Minsk discussed the OSCE role and its methods in addressing topical problems of modern-day Europe. Partaking in the event were over 100 students and professors of the BSU department of international relations and the department of law.
