Capitals of Kyrgyzstan, Belarus to become sworn brother cities

Capitals of Kyrgyzstan and Belarus will soon become sworn brother cities, press service of the Kyrgyz President Kurmanbek Bakiev reports in light of the coming official visit of the Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko to Kyrgyzstan scheduled for October 11, 2008.

Other high-rank Belarus officials, including Foreign Minister, Minister of Culture, Industry Minister and Mayor of Minsk are expected to accompany the president in his trip.

Leaders will reportedly discuss wide range of issues in spheres of trade, economic, culture and humanitarian cooperation. The talks are believed to result into a joint declaration of cooperation.

Official visit of Alexander Lukashenko will open Days of Belarus Culture in Kyrgyzstan.
