Elena Potoupa, Owner of Wow-Coupons.com, Named as StevieR Awards Women in Business Finalist in Two Categories

4th Annual Stevie Award winners to be announced in Las Vegas on November 12, 2007.

More than 800 entries were submitted for consideration in more than 40 categories. "Best Entrepreneur - Service Businesses - up to 100 Employees" category is recognizing individual women entrepreneurs for their achievements during the eligibility period. "Business Turnaround of the Year" category is recognizing businesses owned or run by women that demonstrated a financial or other operational turnaround during the eligibility period from the year prior.

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor women executives, entrepreneurs, and the companies they run - worldwide. The Stevie Awards have been hailed as "the business world's own Oscars." (New York Post, April 27, 2005).

Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word "crowned," winners will be announced during a gala event at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on Monday, November 12. Nominated women executives and entrepreneurs from the U.S. and several other countries are expected to attend.

A native of Minsk, Belarus, Elena Potoupa earned two degrees by the age of twenty, a B.S. in Physics and a J.D. in International Law. She came to the United States as an international student and earned her M.B.A. from Fairleigh Dickinson University by 22. Elena has more than 10 years of finance, accounting, management, strategic planning and marketing experience. She is currently working as GM for ERC, Inc., leading master agent for Cingular and Helio Wireless.
