Belarus to opened MTZ trade and service center in Hungary

The MTZ trade and service center, first in Europe, with 100%-capital of Belarus opened in Hungary on October 15. The MTZ investments make up more than ?1 million. The opening of the center was held within the Days of Belarusian Economy in Hungary running October 15-17.

BelTA learnt from councilor on the trade and economic issues of the Belarusian embassy to Budapest Dmitriy Kriukov that Belarusian tractors account for the half of the Hungarian market. Annual sales total about 1.000 tractors. The representative office of the Minsk Tractor Works in Hungary undertook a decision to expand its infrastructure and bought a 60-kilometer plot of Budapest.

The trade and service center, build on the plot, will sell the products of the Minsk Tractor Works and provide its guarantee and service. The center includes warehouses for spare components and a ground for displaying Belarusian agricultural hardware. Within the Days of Belarusian Economy in Hungary the two sides will hold a conference "Belarus and Hungary: a common view upon future trade and economic cooperation", business meetings, presentations of the largest Belarusian companies-exporters.

The two countries will initial a draft agreement between the governments of Belarus and Hungary on economic cooperation. The two parties will hold the first session of the bilateral working group on supporting development of the small business. Belarus will also conduct talks with the leadership of the largest Hungarian company CBA on the Belarusian exports via CBA network and promising investment by the Hungarian company in the Belarusian economy.
