Belarus Girl. Melchiorre: Suicide Rumours Groundless
(AGI) - Genoa, Oct.13 - "I was told that such rumours are totally groundless", said Justice Undersecretary Daniela Melchiorre - in Genoa for a brief visit to the Boat Show, and to visit a juvenile prison in the afternoon - commenting the rumours claiming that Vika, the girl from Belarus repatriated on 29 September, apparently threatened, whilst in Italy, to suicide herself if she would be repatriated. "I actually came to know that when she was in Val d'Aosta, she was shown photographs with a banner stating she would kill herself. That's psychological violence on an underage".(AGI)
