Azerbaijani and Belarusian presidents signed intergovernmental agreement on socio-economical cooperation for ten years in Minsk, APA reports.
The agreement will serve to the improvement of socio-economical, humanitarian, cultural and interregional cooperation. The delegations discussed the projects of agricultural vehicle supple of Azerbaijan and assembly of Belarus tractors in Azerbaijan. The presidents also came to agreement on cooperation in oil and gas spheres.
"Azerbaijan has rich oil and gas fields and Belarus has modern and strong oil-chemical complex. These factors are a basis for cooperation in energy sphere. Belarus suggests its infrastructure for Caspian oil export to Baltic States and Poland. We also agreed on using Azerbaijan's transit potentials for exporting our products to other countries. Azerbaijan has great financial resource and it should use it in new production spheres," Belarusian President said.
The presidents signed an agreement on international combined transportation memorandum on cooperation in transport sphere, agreements on physical training, sport, education and agricultural cooperation. Emergencies Ministries and national television and radio companies of the two countries also signed documents on cooperation. /APA/
