Today in Minsk, Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Alexander Lukashenko met in private to discuss Azerbaijan-Belarus bilateral relations, which both leaders described as successfully developing. They agreed there were great potential to enhance economic cooperation between the two countries.
President Lukashenko mentioned the national leader Heydar Aliyev's role in development of Azerbaijan-Belarus relations pointing to the fact that they have been kept at a good level until now. He expressed official Minsk's readiness for cooperation with Azerbaijan in any field.
President Aliyev noted the necessity of effective use of the existing possibilities to enhance economic cooperation between the two countries.
Also, the Presidents exchanged views on a number of other issues of mutual interest.
