Agrarians of Belarus harvested buckwheat throughout 75% of the planned areas
According to data of the press-cutting service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus, to date agricultural enterprises of the country harvested buckwheat throughout 18.7 thsd ha or 75.4% from the planned areas. The production volumes totaled 20 thsd tonnes with the average yield of 10.7 c/ha, down 2 c/ha compared to the previous year.
Agrarians harvested millet throughout 9.4 thsd ha (69.5%), and produced 18.8 thsd tonnes of the grain with the average yield of 20 c/ha.
Also, agrarians of the country continue maize harvesting campaign. As of September 22, Belarus harvested 155.1 thsd tonnes of maize grain throughout 28.9 thsd ha (17.9%), with the average yield of 53.7 c/ha.
