The National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council included channels Belsat TV (Poland) and Kids Co (Britain) in the list of channels allowed for re-broadcasting in Ukraine, Council first deputy chairperson Oksana Holovatenko has told a news briefing.
Belsat TV is a satellite channel in the Belarusian language, created on basis of an agreement between the Foreign Affairs Ministry of the Republic of Poland and the Polish public television in 2007 for the purpose of unbiased covering of events in Belarus.
Kids Co is a channel meant for children.
Thus the TV Council extended the list of foreign channels allowed for re-broadcasting in Ukraine by two to 129.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the National Council for Television and Radio Broadcasting in July included TV channels My Planet (Russia) and Sony Entertainment Television (Britain) in the list of channels allowed for re-broadcasting in Ukraine.
