Belarus ready to hold dialogue with Lithuania on any level

MINSK, September 14 (Itar-Tass) - Belarus is ready to hold a dialogue with Lithuania on any level, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said on Monday.

"We are open for interaction and we are ready to hold a dialogue on any level," the Belarusian president told Lithuanian mass media.

According to Lukashenko, he "is not sorry for relations with Lithuania". "We should cooperate. We are neighbours. And you and we get benefit from it," the president said.

Commenting on the upcoming visit to Vilnius on September 16, Lukashenko said he "hopes for a good and kind meeting. We have some issues to discuss and we should analyse our relations and determine ways to develop cooperation".

Speaking about Belarusian-EU relations, he stressed that there should be no barriers. "We should look directly at each other. We should look into eyes and not through the wall," the Belarusian president stressed.
