Belarus to export 100 thsd tonnes of milling rye
Belarus has the real possibility to supply nearly 100 thsd tonnes of milling rye and 25 thsd tonnes of 4-grade wheat on foreign markets, declared Vasiliy Sedin, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food, the director of the department of bakery products, on September 1. Belarusian universal commodity exchange has already received 60 thsd tonnes of rye for trading operations.
At the same time, according to the director of the department of bakery products, grain exports did not become the main strategic task for Belarus. Grain processing, increasing of meat and dairy products play the leading role in export policy of the country, marked V.Sedin.
