Vietnam Deputy Public Security Minister to visit Belarus on September 20-25

Deputy Public Security Minister of Vietnam, Lieutenant-General Tran Dai Quang will stay in Belarus on September 20-25 on a working visit, the Belarusian Interior Ministry told BelTA.

While in Belarus the Vietnamese delegation led by the Deputy Public Security Minister is expected to meet with Belarus Interior Minister Vladimir Naumov to discuss prospects of cooperation in various areas of official activities. The Vietnamese delegation is expected to visit the special unit Almaz of the Belarusian Interior Ministry to get familiar with the structure and organisation of its operation as well as Minsk City Police Department, Frunze District Police Department of Minsk and an exhibition of special equipment and arms. The sides are expected to share practices used to counteract high-tech crimes, organised crime, illegal drugs trade, terrorism and to secure road safety.

Apart from that, members of the Vietnamese delegation are expected to meet with top officials of the Belarusian Emergencies Ministry.
