President Ahmadinejad has approved the appointment of Seyyed Abdollah Hosseini as Ambassador to Belarus by the Iranian Foreign Ministry. The Foreign Ministry Press Department announced on Sunday that Hosseini was granted the position after Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki proposed the appointment in a letter to President Ahmadinejad. Abdollah Hosseini has significant experience in senior government positions. He currently serves as the director of Iran Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization, and previously was director of the Foreign Ministry Planning Bureau.
