Dubai prince marries Belarusian waitress
MINSK, September 4 (RIA Novosti) - A member of the Dubai royal family Sheikh Sayyid bin Maktoum al-Maktoum has married a waitress, who worked in a hotel in the capital of Belarus, Minsk, the prince's manager said Tuesday.
The sheikh, who is already married with five children, met his second wife, a Muslim from Azerbaijan, in Belarus while taking part in a clay pigeon shooting competition.
The prince won a silver medal in the event and twice extended his stay in Minsk.
The marriage ceremony between the 30-year-old prince and a 19-year-old waitress was held August 27. The woman refused to make any comment saying she would not say anything without her husband's permission.
The couple is expected to fly off for another shooting competition in Cyprus Wednesday.
