Kazakhstan interested in transiting oil via Belarus - Masimov

ASTANA. Sept 12 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan is interested in transiting its oil through Belarus and in the use of Belarusian refineries, Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Masimov said at a briefing in Astana on Wednesday.

"Kazakhstan is of course interested in transiting energy through, and its partial processing in Belarus," Masimov said.

Belarus' experience in the field of energy saving and the introduction of energy saving technologies is interesting. "Kazakhstan has things to learn from Belarus in this respect," Masimov said.

Minsk "is interested in using the potential of Belarusian refineries," Belarusian Prime Minister Sergei Sidorsky said.
