Gas price for Belarus to be set this year

RBC, 26.09.2006, Moscow 18:59:16.The issues concerning Russia's gas supplies to Belarus and gas transit through the Republic are to be resolved by the end of 2006, the Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov told journalists today. The governments of the two countries have assumed control over resolving the issue concerning gas prices and transit tariffs. The Russian PM stressed that the two governments were not inclined to procrastinate over resolving these issues and wouldn't want this topic to become a media circus. He added that the negotiations must be completed in order to establish the Common Economic Space in Russia and Belarus.
