A New Eastern European Reference for Front Porch Digital

BOULDER, Colo., Sept. 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Incentra Solutions, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: ICNS) today announced that its Front Porch Digital Broadcast and Media Division was selected by Belarus TV, the new Belarusian channel, to implement a digital video archive powered by Front Porch's DIVArchive.

Created by the National State TV and Radio Company of the Republic of Belarus for Russian- and Belarusian-speaking audiences abroad, international satellite TV channel Belarus TV started broadcasting on February 1, 2005. Belarus TV is a state-owned, non-commercial TV channel broadcasting abroad and providing information about Belarus. Belarus TV is accessible from Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia, Uzbekistan and Moldova, as well as from Poland, Denmark, Romania, Turkey, Iraq and Iran.

"We continue to build a state-of-the-art facility to serve our viewers, and DIVArchive is a mission-critical component in our plan," said Sergej Maevskiy, Broadcast Director at Belarus TV. "Front Porch has proven its technology and professionalism throughout the European broadcast industry, and we have been very impressed with the service it provides. No other provider could meet our standards for performance and reliability."

The system went live on August 1, 2005. Front Porch handled the installation of its product in partnership with the Lithuanian company, TVT, which was chosen as integrator of the new system. The architecture of the system is structured around two Omneon video servers, an IBM tape library and an automation system from SGT.

"Belarus TV's selection of DIVArchive reaffirms Front Porch Digital's dominant position in the archive management market," said Rino Petricola, Managing Director and Vice President, Front Porch Digital International. "The Belarus TV win adds another Eastern European reference to our client roster. Eastern Europe is an emerging market and moving forward we expect to capture significant market shares in that region. We are very pleased to have Belarus TV as a customer, and we will support them to make sure they get the level of functionality they expect to service their own customers."

DIVArchive (Distributed Intelligent Versatile Archive) is a software middleware that enables interoperability between large digital media storage devices, video servers, editing systems and digital media workflow applications in the broadcast, media and entertainment industries.
