Limo hire treat for Chernobyl Children

As part of their holiday in England, children affected by the Chernobyl disaster were treated to a ride in luxury limousine hire this weekend. Every year youngsters from Belarus make the journey to the U.K which offers then a chance to relax and enjoy themselves and also helps the sick children strengthen their immune system.

8 children in all were whisked around the town of Didcot in the chauffeur driven limo. The youngsters, aged between 8 and 12, are in the U.K for a month long stay. During their trip they've enjoyed a range of activities; they joined the school children at Stephen Freeman School and took part in sports day and barbeque and also enjoyed watching the school's musical production, Grease. The town of Didcot will bid farewell to the kids at a party held at Didcot Labour club.

After the surprise limo ride, the boss of the limo hire company Rio Limo, said the children were "Very excited" and had a "brilliant time." The ride lasted for 30 minutes and toured the town of Didcot whilst the youngsters made the most of the exciting onboard features found on the glamorous limo.

The visit was organised by The Medicine and Chernobyl group. The generosity of the local people and organisations is vital to the success of the scheme. Angela Andrews organised the event and said "Without all this help, the visit would not be possible."
